Brooklyn-born Paul Pines is a novelist, essayist, translator, writer of memoir, and creator of multiple volumes of poetry, most recently, Fishing on the Pole Star. He has collaborated numerous times over the years with composer Daniel Asia.
Praise for his work has appeared in the Washington Post, The New York Times Book Review, NPR commentator Andre Codrescu, Kirkus Review, American Book Review, Multicultural Review and even, for My Brother’s Madness, the Journal of the American Psychiatric Association.
