Through Marsh Hawk Press' "Chapter One Project," established poets write about how they began as writers. As it turns out, it's also a panel at AWP...and here are the reps: Geoffrey O'Brien, Jason McCall, Sandy McIntosh, Barbara McIntosh, and Lynne Thompson. Hope you caught them--it's a fabulous series (no one else is presenting such) which you can see at https://marshhawkpress.org/chapter-one/
Founded in 2001 as a poetry collective, Marsh Hawk Press has evolved into a self-sustaining publisher that prides itself on its authors’ involvement in every stage of the publishing process. Our books' forms and sensibilities assimilate modern and post-modern traditions of poetry and memoir but expand from these without political or aesthetic bias.
